CCHS is working hard to continue to bring you the events you so enjoy.  


June 12, 2026 - Bicentennial Golf Classic- The Cole County Historical Society’s Bicentennial Golf Classic happens Friday, June 12th at Railwood Golf Club. Information is provided below. 

 

The Tournament promotes awareness of the Society’s mission while raising funds for its general operating expenses. “The Cole County Historical Society & Museum really is a treasure of your history, right here in our community,” Board of Directors Member Dale Verslues said. “This tournament is a great way for individuals and businesses to support the preservation of local history while having a lot of fun.”

           

                    Individuals and/or businesses are encouraged to enter a team for the event. 

           

The Cole County Historical Society and Museum is dedicated to the collection and preservation of records, documents, and artifacts directly related to the history of Cole County, including its role as the seat of Missouri State government. The society shall maintain its records, collections, and artifacts for public display, education, and scholarly research to afford Cole County residents the opportunity to preserve, understand and share their heritage.

                           9th Annual CCHS Golf Tourney Kick-Off Event

                                   

                                       Wednesday, March 25, 5:30 pm

 

                    Upshulte House (enter through Courtyard Entrance)

 

All CCHS members are invited to attend our CCHS 9th Annual Golf Tourney Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, March 25 beginning at 5:30 pm.

 

Organizers Cindy Frank and Dale Verslues will explain sponsorships, volunteer efforts, and the day's event held on Friday, June 12, at 9:00 am at Railwood Golf Course in Holts Summit, and how you help support with asking for sponsors, volunteer for the day, and getting your golf buddies to play!

 

Enjoy some pizza and learn how you can help one of CCHS's largest fundraisers of the year.  

 

CCHS is grateful to its members and business organizations who support our efforts to keep Cole County history alive for generations to come.
